HyperCore ↔ HyperEVM on Hyperliquid
Because HyperCore and HyperEVM share the same state under the same consensus, interactions between them are atomic — the property that separates Hyperliquid from every multi-chain or appchain stack.
Two system interfaces expose this composability. Read precompiles (starting at 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000800) let HyperEVM contracts query real-time HyperCore data — oracle prices, perpetual positions, spot balances, order book depth — with zero external dependency. No Chainlink, no pull-oracle latency, no stale-price attack surface.
CoreWriter (the system contract at 0x3333333333333333333333333333333333333333) is the write path: contracts can place limit orders, manage vault transfers, handle staking or send any HyperCore action through a versioned ABI. Actions are delayed by a few seconds to neutralize latency games and keep the venue fair.
The payoff for builders is fully composable DeFi backed by a real on-chain CLOB: lending markets can liquidate directly on HyperCore, vaults can route trades without intermediaries, and structured products can settle against native spot and perp liquidity in a single transaction.
