What is Elysium?

Elysium is Kinetiq's Layer 2 on HyperEVM: an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles its batches on HyperEVM and uses HYPE as its gas token. Its public testnet opened on 22 September 2026, and mainnet is announced as coming soon.

What are the Elysium testnet network details?

Chain ID 99801, public RPC https://testnet-rpc.elysium.kinetiq.xyz, explorer at test-explorer.elysium.kinetiq.xyz and HYPE as gas. It settles on HyperEVM testnet, chain 998. The Network page reads the live parameters from the chain and adds Elysium to your wallet in one click.

Can I deploy contracts on Elysium with Foundry or Hardhat?

Yes. The Elysium docs state that Foundry, Hardhat, viem, ethers and standard JSON-RPC work as on any Arbitrum Orbit chain. The Simulator's deploy mode dry-runs a contract creation on live testnet state first, then lets you deploy from your own wallet.

How does bridging to and from Elysium work?

ERC-20 tokens from HyperEVM move through Arbitrum's canonical gateways. Writes on the Elysium side arrive as retryable tickets, which the docs say normally land within a minute, and funds leaving Elysium are claimed on HyperEVM.

Where does the data on these pages come from?
