Its utilities sit at the base of the stack: gas for HyperEVM, the staking asset that weights block production on HyperBFT, the currency of governance actions, and the collateral large-scale applications must lock — 500,000 HYPE to deploy a HIP-3 market, 1,000,000 HYPE to issue an Aligned Quote Asset.
